Welcome Eric

I would like to welcome my roommate Eric for the 5 minutes that he's been here thus far.

Obese and Dirty

I would like to say that I aced Jenny's obesity study this morning and outsmarted Tim and his little going away prank of dirtying our hot water by doing jumping jacks in the bathroom before taking a real quick ice cold shower; at least I think I outsmarted him.

The Heat, Good Lord, The Heat

I would like to say that today was way too hot to play golf with PBR and Scantron but I did, way too hot to go mtn biking with Ashley but I did, but just about right to go watch Transformers while drinking a milkshake which I, obviously, did.

Too Much Exercise

I would like to say that I exercised a lot more than I had planned after PBR wanted to play basketball after I had already gone swimming but at least we ended the day with some solid BBQ at Sean's.

Allergies

I would like to curse my allergies that made it hard to breathe this morning while I was doing sprints/stairs with Andy.

Panzer's Bday

I would like to say that although celebrating Panzer's birthday with him actually being there was classic, the whole experience was dampened by the tragic death of MJ and me forever losing the opportunity to knock one thing off my bucket list.

10 Days to Fitness

I would like to say that day 3 at the pool of my 10 days of aerobics to get prepared for my first soccer game next week went surprisingly well.

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Tim's Parents

I would like to say that Tim's mom is quite the story teller and it was great to see his parents again and also hear Vik's tales of reunion and Dusto.

First Run

I would like to say that my hip hurts after I went for my first run in a long time after I realized just how out of shape I was last week and it took me 28 minutes and I have no idea how far I ran.

Driving it Home

I would like to say that driving home with Melanie in the car is a real treat as she keeps telling us the same stories over and over again.

Good Lissners and Nearly Passing Out

I would like to congratulate Tom on his Lissner Medal, the Black Swan, and his "moving" presentation and also like to say that today was the first time I've been out of breath from lifting weights and I nearly puked and passed out from leg pressing.

Mouontain Bikes and Surprise Birthdays

I would like to say that riding a chairlift up to the top of Northstar and biking down is absolutely the best way to go mountain biking and offering Polina a BLL to drink in our hotel room was probably her best birthday celebration even without the surprise of Ashley and Matt showing up.

Blended Scotch in Tahoe

I would like to say that as my first blended scotch, Dewar's 12 isn't too shabby.

No Bonus Room for Us

I would like to state my disappointment in our lack of ability to secure a house with a bonus room since we cannot move in within the next 3 days.

I Will Not Lose

I would like to wish Paul lots of both physical and mental rest and relaxation over the next couple weeks in NC as he recuperates after losing 4 straight games to me at racquetball this evening.

Higley

I would like to say that Kate Higley's job as a graduation photographer is incredible because she gets to travel all around the country and buy me breakfasts at Hobee's.

Distilleries and Patxi's

I would like to say that as much as I love Scotch and going on a distillery tour, I am not a fan of tasting straight eau de vie, vodka, absinthe, and tequila.

Friday, June 12, 2009

Three Dimensions

I would like to say that Up in 3D was an excellent movie and Panzer can still drink with the best of them even though he's rapidly approaching 30.

Back into Racquetball

I would like to thank Paul for being willing to lose to me at racquetball again after taking a couple month hiatus.

Wednesday, June 10, 2009

Indian Food

I would like to thank Rivnay for providing enough Indian food to feed 100 people this evening after I was tired from swimming for the first time in several months.

Eating Like Andy

I would like to thank Andy for a delicious meal, Barb for some delicious cookies on the way back from SOAR, and the Magic for finally winning an NBA finals game.

Monday, June 8, 2009

Shredded Chicken

I would like to tell everyone that shredded chicken makes the most delicious nachos.

Sunday, June 7, 2009

Dirtin and Bikin

I would like to say that when you're in as awful shape as I am, dirt biking is significantly more fun than mountain biking, even though I did both today.

Saturday, June 6, 2009

So Freakin Lazy

I would like to say that I got nothing accomplished today other than groceries, a strong to quite strong nap, and talking to Swiss Marc, and my legs are still sore from Thursday's sprints.

Friday, June 5, 2009

5th?

I would like to figure out how I didn't play racquetball for like 2 weeks and finished 5th in the ladder and where did these ENT's come from?

Thursday, June 4, 2009

A Complete Lack of Endurance

I would like to say that I nearly puked this morning after our sprint interval workout because I'm apparently not in good shape at all and I also want to add that Rich lit himself on fire today.

Wednesday, June 3, 2009

The T-Shirt Dream is Over

I would like to say that our 3 v. 3 basketball team really played a big game tonight despite a huge height disadvantage and losing 22-19 twice is harsh although not as harsh as Brandon having to sleep on our couch since his idiot friend wouldn't wake up to let him in.

Tuesday, June 2, 2009

Chili's

I would like to thank the 7 people from my soccer team of nearly 30 people that showed up to enjoy Chili's with me despite our non-championship season, Ash for being the only one smart enough to enjoy a milkshake with me, and the CA staff for making our last "brief" meeting last an hour and a half long full of stupid arguments about nothing.

Monday, June 1, 2009

Fully Stuffed Basketball

I would like to figure out how I've only gained 5 lbs this year after days like today where I dined at the faculty club with Peter Torzilli, ate food at the reception after his talk, ate until I almost puked at the CA Appreciation dinner, and then basically watched our 3v3 bball team squeeze its way into the semifinals
